Since its inception, Tiger Sports Live (TSL) has developed and distributed free, state-of-the-art broadcasts of local events to the Liberty Center audience nationwide. More importantly, TSL educates and involves Liberty Center students and community volunteers in all aspects of their broadcast production. With over 300 local events broadcast annually, from football games to student performances, TSL seizes each broadcast as an opportunity to teach the fundamentals of audio/video editing, broadcast writing, video and live production, post-production, and modern media delivery methods. TSL is not just a remarkable service for its viewers, but an immeasurable source of education and belonging for those participating behind the scenes.

The goal of the Liberty Center Tiger Sports Live Foundation is to build financial support to maintain and expand the offerings of Tiger Sports Live. The foundation will directly fund all expenses required to deliver free, quality broadcasts, including:

• Technology expenses involved in supporting the broadcast platform include network costs and subscription-based software, as well as the purchase and maintenance of equipment (cabling, microphones, sound boards, high-definition video, cameras, etc.).
• Studio and building expenses: payment of utilities, general building maintenance, and office-related consumables such as batteries, paper goods, and furniture items.
• Maintenance and development of the TSL website, creation of a phone-based app for viewers on the go, and a user-accessible archive of Liberty Center recordings (including football games from 1986 forward).

​Additionally, the Liberty Center Tiger Sports Live Foundation is proud to announce the creation of two annual scholarship opportunities for students pursuing careers in broadcasting or communications. This foundation is driven to have a generational impact on our community.
